Funny quips and pop culture trivia don't grow on trees ya know!"

Just catching up on the podcasts and heard the discussion on best ways to harm Wolverine.

My friend Zach (ex-patron of Acme) always held fast to the idea that if you simple shot him in the eye & let the bullet rattle around inside his Adamantium skull, there by destroying most if not all of his gray matter, that it would at least slow him down considerably if not kill him all together.

Speaking of vans and roadtrips, Scott McCloud of "Understanding Comics" is coming through Illinois on his 50 state tour for his latest book "Making Comics".

He's coming to the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign next Monday, Apr. 23rd at 6pm at the Krannert Art Museum (directions can be found on his calendar at www.scottmccloud.com). I don't think we'll be able to get his books there to sell, but if you bring your own, he'll be available for signing afterwards.

Pass the word along, it'll be a great lecture.

Any questions? Just hit me at my blog dragonandgoat.blogspot.com.

I read it twice and can't find the part where he died...so I'd give it about 2 months before we find out he was never really dead.

By the way, the pair of covers are going on ebay for $100.

If anyone was on my list to get one I'll still get you yours, but after that the rest are mine.

from Neil Gaiman's blog:

And I keep meaning to mention that if you order a copy the new special edition Last Unicorn DVD from the Conlan Press site, half the money goes to Peter Beagle [author of the book which the movie was based upon], and your copy will be signed, as opposed to ordering it from anywhere else in which case it won't be signed by anyone, and Peter won't see a penny.
buy The Last Unicorn
